Introduction
Personnel synchronisation is used to link employees between Telaris and Tripletex
The synchronisation is one-way - from Telaris to Tripletex.
Tip: Make sure all employees have the correct employee number before setup.
Walkthrough of personnel synchronisation
Employees are linked and exported at initialisation (startup) and when new employees are created.

Matching employees
At initialisation, employees are matched based on:
- Employee number in Telaris
- employeeNumber in Tripletex
If a match is found:
- The employees are linked automatically
If no match is found:
- The employees are exported to Tripletex
Tip: Employees are created as user and personnel. Go to Settings - Users to create a new user, and upgrade the user to personnel
Exporting new employees
When a new employee is created in Telaris:
- If not linked → created automatically in Tripletex
This happens when the employee is saved.
NOTE: Export only happens for employees who are not already linked. NOTE: Employees must be created in Telaris
Which fields are synchronised
On export, employees are created with:
- Employee number
- First name and last name
- Department (if enabled)
Common errors with personnel synchronisation
If employees are not linked or exported:
- Employee number is missing
- Employee number does not match between the systems. Link them manually via the integration setup
- Initialisation has not been run
- The employee was created in Tripletex before being created in Telaris. Same employee number - link them manually via the integration setup
Tip: If you have personnel in Telaris who should not be employees in Tripletex. Create them in Telaris as usual. In Tripletex: Remove user access and convert to contact
NOTE: Changes to existing employees are not updated automatically in Tripletex.
