Create a customer or supplier
A well-maintained customer and supplier database provides accurate information, improving communication and efficiency in business processes. It ensures correct contact details, reduces the risk of errors and improves customer service. Up-to-date data also supports better decision-making and relationship management.

Side menu and shortcuts
In the side menu, to the left of the logo on the dashboard, there is a section called "Customers."
Here you will find the option called "New customer" or "New supplier".
In some cases there will also be shortcuts on dashboards for creating customers

Tip: It is also common to have a shortcut from the dashboard called "New customer"
Customer module
When creating, you are taken to the customer module. The first step is to select the customer type: company, private person or supplier. To create a company customer, you can search in the "Company name" or "Business Register" field. The system will then search the Brønnøysund Register and automatically fill in name, organisation number, phone number and address. A phone number search will trigger an automatic lookup and suggest the customer name and contact information.

When a new customer or supplier is created, a new customer or supplier number is automatically assigned from the number sequence. The customer is automatically set to active status, and the menu tabs for customer information appear in the header.

Tip: A customer can be both a customer and a supplier. To select this, set the customer type to Supplier/Company
In the customer card you can make many different settings for the relevant customer. For example, you can adjust the default number of due days on invoices, invoice delivery method and delivery address,
