Price and VAT rate
The chosen sales price both incl. VAT and excl. VAT, which can be changed. The default VAT rate on the product is taken from the product class.
Changes to prices and VAT rate are logged in the timeline with the user's signature on the product.
Max discount is used to set the maximum allowed discount for the product.
A catalogue import can set a new sales price, while a change of product class on the product can set a new default VAT rate.
Note: If a new sales price is set on the product card and the product is linked to a catalogue with a different sales price, an update of the catalogue will overwrite the sales price set on the product card. In these cases it can be wise to set the new sales price both on the product and the catalogue (the supplier line on the product).
