Guide explaining the meaning of the stock fields on the product card
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Stock fields on the product card

The product card has several fields related to warehouse locations, rules for purchasing, allocation and movement.
Warehouse location

Registration of the default warehouse location is done on the warehouse where the product is to be located.
If there is only one warehouse, the default location is registered on that one warehouse.
Then purchasing will suggest the warehouse location on the correct warehouse based on which warehouse you use in the purchase.
From the image above, the rules for how the location is shown on a product:
- Blank (empty / none) if the system does not find any default location
- Grey if the system finds a default location
- Black if a location is set
NOTE: The location is set per warehouse. Choosing a warehouse in the field called 'Default' will not set the default location on the warehouse.
