Responsibility: Telaris and factoring partner
Telaris is responsible for the factoring module in Telaris, that is, setting up partners, collecting batches, and generating and sending files and email. The handling of the invoices after they are delivered, and the partner's own systems and reports, rest with the factoring partner.
If the question concerns how the partner reads in the file, settlement or collection, contact the factoring partner.
NOTE: Telaris support helps with the factoring module in Telaris. The agreement itself, reading in files and collection are handled by the factoring partner.
Common errors
| Problem | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Invoice does not end up in a batch | The invoice is not linked to factoring, or is missing a partner | Link the invoice to factoring; check that a factoring partner is selected. |
| Email to partner is not sent | Missing email address or subject on the partner | Fill in email and subject in the partner setup. |
| Wrong file format at partner | Wrong partner type selected | Check that the partner type (DNB/Svea/Nordea/Nordea2) matches the agreement. |
| The batch was sent by mistake | Sent status is set | Reset the batch to send again. |
Known limitations
- Supports the built-in partner types: DNB, Svea, Nordea, Nordea2 and custom.
- The file is not fetched automatically by the partner; it is downloaded or sent, and the partner reads it in.
- This module covers the batch and partner flow. Factoring as a payment method on an individual invoice is described in a separate article about invoices and payment.
What the module does not do
- Does not create invoices; they are formed from orders.
- Does not cover the accounting export itself.
- Does not replace the factoring partner's own systems and reports.
Frequently asked questions
How do I send an invoice to factoring?
Link the invoice to factoring. It is collected automatically in an unsent batch for the partner, which you then generate and send.
What is the difference between a factoring batch and an export batch?
A factoring batch collects invoices that are sent to a factoring partner. An export batch collects vouchers that are exported to the accounting system. They are two different things.
How is the batch delivered to the partner?
As a file (XML for DNB/Svea, Excel for Nordea/Nordea2), or as an email with the file(s) as attachments – depending on the partner and setup.
Can I send a batch again?
Yes, reset the sent status on the batch and send it again.
Which factoring partners are supported?
DNB, Svea, Nordea and Nordea2, as well as a custom variant.
