The purchase quantity of a product up to the minimum stock level

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Setup and use

On the product card for stock-managed products in Telaris you'll find the fields 'Minimum stock' and 'Min. purchase'.
In relation to the purchase planner, these fields are the basis for two functions.

Minimum stock

Based on the number set here, the purchase planner suggests purchases up to this level.

That means if you have 5 units in stock and minimum stock is set to 10, Telaris automatically suggests buying 5 more to reach the minimum stock.

Min. purchase

Based on the number set here, the purchase planner suggests that quantity for purchase. That means the purchase planner will always suggest a purchase volume of 5 units.

Adjusting Min. stock and Min. purchase

Needs change by season, so it is important to be able to adjust these numbers to keep purchase suggestions that reflect the actual demand.

Using the Set Fields tool, you can bulk-update Min. stock and Min. purchase.
