Changes to the ELMA / Peppol Register from 1 October 2024
All companies that wish to receive EHF invoices must be registered in the Peppol register. This is a prerequisite for exchanging electronic invoices in line with Norwegian and European requirements. From 1 October 2024, there is only one register. ELMA has been shut down.

The ELMA register was shut down on 1 October 2024
Telaris previously searched both the ELMA and Peppol registers for whether the companies you send invoices to support EHF.
From 1 October, the ELMA database disappeared, meaning it is no longer available for lookups. Currently there are quite a few more Norwegian companies in ELMA than in Peppol. Companies that are not in Peppol will not be able to receive EHF.
Guide to Registering in Peppol
For customers who do not receive invoices via EHF:
1. Check whether the company is in Peppol: https://directory.peppol.eu/public/locale-en_US/menuitem-search?q=
2. If it is not listed there, you must contact your provider for incoming EHF, normally the accounting system.
Temporary Solution
If it is urgent, invoices can be sent as PDF by email, or on paper if the company is not registered.
Advise the company to prioritise registration in Peppol to avoid problems in the future.
